This Thursday, Cyclone Olaf became a Category 1 hurricane in the Mexican Pacific. The National Meteorological Service (SMN) announced that it was “very close” to landfall in Baja California Sur State and could do so as a category two hurricane tonight.

4:00 p.m. / The SMN reported that Olaf It is located 130 km. southeast of Cabo San Lucas and is expected to make landfall between the municipalities of Los Cabos and La Paz, most likely as a Category Two hurricane, approximately between 10:00 p.m. this Thursday and 1:00 a.m. Friday, September 10.
