Eight out of 10 people injured in crashes would have consumed alcoholic beverages before driving, causing about 80% of accidents.

Road accidents are the second leading cause of permanent motor disability, meaning that approximately 860,000 Mexicans live with limitations in walking or moving due to a car accident.
