The MS Braemar tourist cruise, belonging to the Norwegian company Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines marked Wednesday's history by becoming the largest ship to have crossed the Corinth Canal in Greece.
This canal is an artificial route that connects the Gulf of the same name to the Aegean Sea. It has a length of 6.3 kilometers and at its narrowest point, it is only 24 meters, a difficulty for many boats.
However, these dimensions did not prevent the colossal Norwegian ship of 24 tons, 195 meters long and 22.52 meters long, with a narrow margin of less than one and a half meters to achieve this feat.
During the trip, 929 passengers aboard the boat enjoyed the experience of crossing the rocky and steep margins of the canal.
Breathe everyone!

"We strive to create memories that last a lifetime.By giving Braemar customers the opportunity to approach so close to the edges of the Corinth Canal that they could almost touch them, we know it will be a vacation they will never forget "They wrote about the company.
