In Brazil, a civilian policeman shot dead a man who wanted to rob him in the street

A plainclothes military police officer was picked up by a thief on a street in San Pablo, Brazil. Given the danger of the situation, the woman did not hesitate and he shot him with his regular weapon. The man was killed instantly by a bullet in the chest.

The case took place in the last hours, but on March 24th. Through the recording of a security camera from a local, who headed directly to the scene, investigators were able to observe what had happened.

On these black and white images, it was indicated how the policewoman – whose name had not been revealed – was returning home during her day off. Surprisingly, a car parked in front of her and Francisco Gonsalves dos Santos Junior, 40, went to attack her.

But the police responded automatically: pulled the gun from his pants and shot at him to defend himself. The thief was shot in the chest and the severity of the injury left him dead on the street.

This case was very similar to that of the agent Katia Sastre who, in May 2018, also dressed in plain clothes he killed a thief in San Pablo. The police, elected in the last election, was at the door of their son's school when an armed young man approached to rob him. Quickly, the officer took out his gun and fired it three times.
