In less than a week, a Sherpa has come twice to the summit of Everest

A Sherpa extended its Everest promotion record to 24 Tuesday with its second highest world record in less than a week.

Kami Rita reached the top of 8,850 meters with other mountaineers, said Mira Acharya, head of the Nepal Tourism Department.

It was the second ascent of Everest in a week. He reached the summit on May 15 and, after returning to base camp, returned with another team this week.

Rita, 49, has approached her goal of 25 climbs to the mountain before retiring as Sherpa from great peaks.
