Archaeologists have discovered part of an ancient cemetery near the famous Giza pyramids, outside Cairo, the Egyptian Ministry of Antiquities reported Saturday.
The Secretary General of the Supreme Council of Antiquities, Mostafa Waziri, said that the cemetery includes tunnels and tombs of high officials, as well as a magnificent limestone statue of the Fifth Dynasty (2465-2323 BC). C.).
