In photos, the traditional celebration of St. Patrick's Day

It is a worldwide Anglo-Saxon celebration of Christian origin commemorating the death of St. Patrick of Ireland, patron of the whole island of Ireland. This national holiday is celebrated next to the day of the founding of the Republic. The celebration has spread around the world since the last years of the twentieth century, due to the strong Irish diaspora in countries such as France, Spain, the United States and Canada.
