The government of Netherlands reported that they would vaccinate those who have recovered from the coronavirus with a single dose, after scientific studies claimed that with this protocol, enough antibodies are already obtained to fight the virus.
A single dose amply stimulates the immune system, said the Minister of Health, Hugo de Jonge, and explained that people over 80 or with an underlying disease will receive the second dose even if they have overcome the disease.
The official asked those who already have a round for their second dose and who have recovered from the disease to cancel it to be recorded as fully immunized. The same goes for the effects of the pass promoted by the European Union to facilitate internal travel.
De Jonge explained that those who wish to take the second dose can do so by choice.
Next Saturday begins the third stage of the lack of refinement in the country, in this stage cinemas, theaters, museums and concert halls will reopen.
The maximum recommended number of visitors in a house will be four people, as in outdoor spaces, where the group should also be a maximum of four people, not including those under 13.
In large spaces, the maximum number will be 50 people, respecting the minimum distance (1.5 meters) and premises with a capacity greater than 1000 people can accommodate up to 250 visitors.
This measure applies to spaces such as open stadiums, open-air theaters and concert halls. Also, citizens of all ages will be able to participate in any artistic and cultural event in groups, while bars will open from 6 to 22 with a limit of four people per table.
Netherlands recorded in the past 24 hours a total of 2,440 new positive cases and the occupancy rate of hospitals has also declined, reaching 1,065 people admitted for coronavirus across the country, of which 377 are in intensive care units.
