The government of Netherlands reported that they would vaccinate those who have recovered from the coronavirus with a single dose, after scientific studies claimed that with this protocol, enough antibodies are already obtained to fight the virus.
A single dose amply stimulates the immune system, said the Minister of Health, Hugo de Jonge, and explained that people over 80 or with an underlying disease will receive the second dose even if they have overcome the disease.
The official asked those who already have a round for their second dose and who have recovered from the disease to cancel it to be recorded as fully immunized. The same goes for the effects of the pass promoted by the European Union to facilitate internal travel.
De Jonge explained that those who wish to take the second dose can do so by choice.

This measure applies to spaces such as open stadiums, open-air theaters and concert halls. Also, citizens of all ages will be able to participate in any artistic and cultural event in groups, while bars will open from 6 to 22 with a limit of four people per table.
