It does not miss much for the next holidays in the country. It will be April 2, Veterans Day and fallen soldiers during the Falklands War. By falling Tuesday, many Argentineans hoped that Monday 1 would become a holiday at the bridge and generate another weekend extra long.

The calendar of this year's official holidays does not include April 1st. Can the government accede to the demand of merchants and tour operators to convert it into a "non-working day", a holiday or a holiday?

The response of the Ministry of Interior has dispelled the doubts: "This year's holiday schedule has already been released on time and there will be no changes of any kind", they told the newspaper Perfil. In times of crisis, domestic tourism has become one of the few activities with an interesting movement. For example, during the long weekend preceding the carnival, Mendoza received the visit of more than 60 000 domestic and foreign tourists.

According to data published by the Tourism Observatory of Emetur, the occupancy rate of hotels has reached 90% in the provincial average. The average stay was 3.5 days and the average cost was $ 2,000 per day per person for a national visitor, while overseas spending exceeded $ 100 per day on average.

Whatever the case may be, for the next long weekend, we will not have to wait long because this week's Holy Week will take place on April 18th and 19th.
