ISIS assumed responsibility for attacks in Sri Lanka

The terrorist group has claimed responsibility for attacks in several churches and hotels in this Asian country, according to the news agency Amaq, linked to the group led by Abu Bakr al Baghdadi.

In a message published by the agency, the terrorist group said that The chain of attacks of April 18 was led by "fighters of the Islamic State". ISIS's message comes after the Sri Lankan government attributed the attacks to a local Islamist terrorist group with the support of an "international network".

Attacks by several suicide bombers against several churches and luxury hotels have left at least 321 dead and more than 500 wounded in various ways, according to the latest badessment by the Sri Lankan government.
