Israel attacked four Hamas weapons manufacturing sites in response to border shooting

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) They attacked this Saturday evening four manufacturing and storage points of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) in Gaza in response to a border shootout that seriously injured an Israeli border guard.

“In response to the violent riots that Hamas started on Saturday on the border between Israel and Gaza, our forces have just attacked four Hamas weapons manufacturing and storage sites, ”the IDF posted on social media.

This attack came in response to a series of clashes that took place during a demonstration organized by Hamas., due to which an Israeli border guard was seriously injured after being shot in the head, as the newspaper reports “Times of Israel”.

“This afternoon, hundreds of Palestinian rioters gathered along the security fence in northern Gaza. The demonstrators approached the fence, tried to climb it and threw explosive devices at IDF troops ”, the IDF pointed out.

In order to dissolve these concentrations, IDF responded with riot control and after the Israeli soldier was injured, the rioters dispersed.

“The terrorist organization Hamas continues to sow terror in the Gaza Strip while exploiting the civilian population,” according to the Israeli army statement.

RECENT PROVOCATIONS

Two weeks ago, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) attacked a Hamas military compound and rocket launch site, in response to the continuous launches of incendiary balloons from Gaza throughout the day.

The rocket launch site was located near a civilian environment, another example of how the Hamas group continues to endanger Palestinian civilians.

The Israeli military will continue to respond vigorously to the terrorist efforts disseminated from the Gaza Strip.

THE FIRES HAVE BEGUN

Incendiary balloons launched on Friday from the Palestinian enclave of Gaza sparked four fires in Israel, according to a statement from Israeli firefighters.

July 25 also such balloons were sent from Gaza causing fires, Israel retaliated with airstrikes against suspected Hamas positions, the armed Islamist movement which governs the Palestinian territory.
