Israel Defense Forces bombed Gaza in response to incendiary balloons launched by Hamas

THE CONTEXT

The peak of violence between Hamas militias and the Israeli army comes amid heightened tensions over the capture of four of six Palestinian prisoners escaped from prison high security of Israel.

The arrests took place in the Arab town of Shibli Umm al Ghanam, about ten kilometers east of Nazareth.
