It is explained that entry into this country is always limited to a series of exceptional cases which require a specific authorization, which is granted by the competent border authority and which is dealt with before the Spanish consulates.

Depending on the details, authorized passengers from countries or areas at risk, “Among which is currently Argentina”, it is specified, they will need to certify some of the following health requirements:

a – “Certificate of vaccination confirming that the holder has received a vaccine against COVID19. Vaccination certificates issued by the competent authorities of the country of origin will be accepted as valid from 14 days after the date of administration of the last dose of the complete vaccination schedule. The accepted vaccines are those produced by Pfizer-Biontech, Moderna, Astra-Zeneca, Jansen / Johnson & Johnson, Sinovac and Sinopharm, which are those currently authorized by the European Medicines Agency or listed on the World Health Organization’s Emergency Use List”.

b – “Diagnostic certificate that indicates the result of an Active COVID-19 Diagnostic Test that the cardholder has performed. The diagnostic test certificates for active COVID-19 infection with a negative result issued within 48 hours before arrival in Spain will be accepted as valid “.

It is also specified that the diagnostic tests for infection for SARS-CoV-2 accepted will be as follows:

– Molecular nucleic acid amplification tests (NAAT), used to detect the presence of ribonucleic acid (RNA) of SARS-CoV-2;

– Antigen detection tests included in the common list of rapid antigen detection tests for COVID-19, published by the European Commission on the basis of Council recommendation 2021 / C 24/01 ″.

c – “Certificate of recovery confirming that the holder has recovered from COVID-19. Those issued by the competent authority or by a medical service at least 11 days after the first NAAT diagnostic test with a positive result will be accepted as valid. The validity of the certificate will end 180 days from the date of the debit ”.

Finally, the health requirements that must be met by people entering Spain are listed:

a – Have received one of the vaccines admitted under the conditions indicated above.

b – Have completed the vaccination cycle and have spent at least 14 days from the date of administration of the last dose.

c – Present a vaccination certificate in the terms indicated above.

“In any case, both for exceptional travelers and tourists, passengers arriving in Spain by air or sea, including those coming in transit to other countries, must complete a control form before entering in Spain Sanitario (FCS), through the website www.spth .gob.es or the Spain Travel Health-SpTH application.After completing the health control form, an individualized QR code will be generated that the traveler must present to the companies transport before boarding, as well as health checks at the point of entry into Spain ”, it is specified.
