Influenza or flu is a viral respiratory illness that usually occurs during the coldest months of the year. To avoid serious cases, it is important for at – risk groups to receive the annual flu shot before the arrival of winter. They are:
* Pregnant and Puerperal Women: in any trimester of pregnancy.
* Children from 6 to 24 months: should receive two separate doses of at least 4 weeks.
