The former Secretary General of the Organization of American States (OAS), José Miguel Insulza, has discredited the humanitarian aid plan implemented by the Donald Trump government. The current Chilean senator said, via his Twitter account, that "the operation is political and not humanitarian".

Insulza, citing the English newspaper The Economist, warns about Trump's intentionality because, according to information provided by the US Embbady in Colombia, the food collected lasts only ten days and about five thousand people. He even points out that the drugs collected by the US government represent 90 days of provisions for 10,000 people.
