Japan condemned the launch of ballistic missiles by Kim Jong-un regime: “They are a threat to peace and security”

Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga condemned North Korea’s firing of two ballistic missiles on Wednesday, and asserted that in addition to violating international resolutions, they assume “A threat to peace and security” from his country.

Suga spoke of him like this Pyongyang’s latest weapon test, held this Wednesday with Unidentified ballistic projectiles that traveled approximately 800 kilometers before landing in the Sea of ​​Japan (referred to as the East Sea in both Koreas), according to data provided by the South Korean Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS).

The Japanese Prime Minister expressed his “Powerful protest” and stressed that the test “violates UN Security Council resolutions”, in statements to the media.

He also said that Japan “Continue to monitor the situation” and called a meeting of the National Security Council after the missiles struck outside the waters of the exclusive economic zone of the Japanese archipelago.

The last time the regime fired a ballistic missile was at the end of March, when it tested what appeared to be a version of its KN-23 projectile, capable of tracing very difficult to intercept trajectories.

In addition, this Wednesday’s test comes after the regime announced last Monday that it had tested a new type of cruise missile which, due to its range, ability to evade detection systems and the ability to load nuclear warheads, is also considered a direct threat by Japan.
