The daughter of Jeanine Áñez, former interim president of Bolivia, denounced this Saturday wanting to kill her mother, demanded to see the results of the medical examinations which are carried out and to be informed of her state of health.

“They are risking my mother’s life. What they want is to kill her and this is the despair I have as a daughter. I just want to know that she is okay, because physically she looks very bad. I want to see the results of all the medical evaluations they do, let me know what they’re doing, tell me how they’re doing, ”said Carolina Ribera.

Áñez is in custody accused of carrying out a coup against Evo Morales, who was dismissed from his post in November 2019, amid accusations of fraud and a deep political crisis.

Ten days ago, a judge extended Áñez’s pre-trial detention for six months, just over a week after the former president ended five months in detention.
