“We still have 70 million Americans who haven’t even taken a dose. And worse, we have elected officials who are working to undermine the fight against the coronavirus with false information. This is unacceptable, “President Joe Biden said on Friday morning at a press conference in which he focused on the repeated demand for the population to be vaccinated.

The President indicated that the United States is experiencing a “Unvaccinated pandemic”, a reiterated concept which it causes an unusual occupation of hospital resources, according to Biden, who remarks: “There is 25% of the population which causes us a lot of damage”.

The crowds of the unvaccinated in our hospitals, emergency rooms and intensive care units are overflowing, leaving no room for someone with a heart attack or cancer operation to receive life-saving care, because the places where they could receive this attention are crowded, they are not available, ”he said.

Biden urged people over 65 and those with pre-existing conditions who received the second dose of Pfizer vaccine against the coronavirus more than six months ago to be inoculated with a third booster injection.

“If you got the Pfizer vaccine in January, February or March of this year and you’re over 65, go get the booster dose. Or if you have a health problem like diabetes or if you are a healthcare worker or frontline teacher you can get a free refresher now ”, said the Democrat.
