John Foos Sneaker Factory Expands Staff, Targets Overseas

The shoe company John foos announcement that culminates the first stage of incorporation of 40 former Suola employees, the factory that supplies the brand Nike which suspended production in the country in 2020, and said it plans for the rest of the year increase its staff plant by 20% to specify its commercial expansion in the countries of the region.

The company, founded by Miguel fosatti, informed that the 40 new workers occupy positions in the sectors of cutting, dressing and assembly of vulcanized and cold-cemented products in the factory located in Beccar, Province of Buenos Aires.

These same workers lost their jobs in 2020, following the closure of Suola, a factory Nike Supplier which closed its doors after the brand’s decision to stop production in the country.

This staff entered with experience in the new machines that the company acquired to diversify and rapidly increase its production with new knowledge, improving production processes.

For the incorporation of unemployed people with experience in the sector, since 2018, the Human Resources department of John Foos was in contact with various companies in crisis in order to create a database of qualified personnel.
