Johnny Manziel traded to the Montreal Alouettes of the CFL

Quarterback Johnny Manziel was found in a new team in the Canadian Football League.

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats traded Manziel against the Montreal Alouettes on Sunday, in a move that brings the caller to Alouettes head coach Mike Sherman, who helped recruit Manziel to Texas A & M in 2011.

Exceptional quarterback with an undeniable talent, "said Alouettes general manager Kavis Reed in a statement posted on the team's official website. "Thanks to his great mobility, athleticism, and instinct, we believe that he will have a positive impact on our attack."

Manziel joined the CFL under the umbrella of a two-year contract with Hamilton in the hope of starting his career. but could not go past quarterback Jeremiah Masoli for the starting job.

With the Alouettes, however, Manziel could have better opportunities to see the action with the knowledge of Sherman's attack.

Manziel entered the NFL in 2014 as the Cleveland Browns' first-choice (22nd overall), but off-road issues have derailed his career and he's no longer in the league since the Browns cut him the 2016.
