With speeches from the King of Spain, Felipe VIand the president of the nation, Mauricio Macri, has begun the VIIIth International Congress of the Spanish Language (CILE), to be held in Cordoba until next Saturday.
More than 200 writers, academics and linguists from 32 countries attended the great event of our language. However, the first thing that attracted attention was a series of furcios during the presentation speech.
The monarch cited one of the great references of Argentine literature, but it was not very wise: "Your José Luis Borges has left writing that the language is not just an instrument of communication but a tradition and a destiny ".
