Juan Guaidó arrived in Bogotá to attend the meeting of the Lima group

Juan Guaidó, proclaimed interim president of Venezuela, arrived Sunday in Bogota to participate in the meeting of the Lima group to be held Monday in the Colombian capital to discuss the crisis in the neighboring country.

Upon his arrival in the Colombian capital, the Venezuelan opposition leader was received by Foreign Minister Carlos Holmes Trujillo.

"Foreign Minister Carlos Holmes Trujillo has received Venezuelan President Juan Guaidó, who is attending the XI Foreign Ministers' Meeting of the Lima Group in Bogotá to be held at the Colombian Ministry of Foreign Affairs." announced the Colombian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The president of the National Assembly, who crossed the border on Saturday to participate in the humanitarian aid effort, is recognized by more than 50 countries and seeks to increase the pressure on Nicolás Maduro's regime.
