The self-proclaimed president in charge of Venezuela, Juan Guaidó, signed a decree on Thursday evening in which authorizes the entry of humanitarian aid in the country and ordered to keep the border with Brazil open.

It was a few hours after Nicolás Maduro announced the decision to close Venezuelan airspace and the border with Brazil.

"As Commander-in-Chief of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces, I reaffirm the authorization for humanitarian aid to enter Venezuela and therefore order the various elements of this force to act according to this instruction ", says the decree that signed Guaidó

Maduro ordered Thursday to close the airspace throughout the Venezuelan territory for general and private aviation, without specifying until when, possibly up to 25 to prevent the entry of humanitarian aid.
