Juan Guaidó, president of the National Assembly of Venezuela and recognized as interim president of Venezuela for half a hundred countries, participated by videoconference in the evening program of Trish Regan in Fox Business. "We are very close"he said. "As long as we remain united, we are on the verge of realizing freedom."

The politician who heads all the opposition to Nicolás Maduro said that the goal of his struggle and that of his fellow citizens was that Venezuela live in freedom and embrace democracy. He has gone through the history of the most recent months of the crisis, the demonstrations, the repression and the persistence of the demonstration on the territory.

"We want freedom," he summed up. "And we tell the armed forces to follow this process, it is time to abandon the dictator, they must join the reconstruction process in Venezuela, and we are much closer."

"You are a very brave man, but Maduro will probably want to kill him. Is Venezuela's freedom so important to you that you are ready to sacrifice your life? Regan asked.
– Yes, Trish, many years ago, we decided to give life to the public service to help the country. There is no doubt that there is no more sacred value than freedom.

Guaidó agreadeció to the government of Donald Trump in the United States "its decision to defend the democracy in the region". He also thanked the people of the United States, "who follows what is happening and has a lot of empathy for what is happening in our country".

Although the process is hard, with dead, wounded and Maduro's persistence at the Miraflores Palace, "we stay on the street, we stay together and the armed forces are listening to us," he said. It is "a message of union and progress" which, he added, clearly resonated "in the city of Caracas, Venezuela's central power".
