• The third meeting of the G-20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Presidents this year will be – in camera – this weekend at the Exhibition and Convention Center of the City of Buenos Aires ( to Figueroa Alcorta and Pueyrredón, in Recoleta)
• More than 55 heads of delegation will discuss "the future of work, infrastructure for development, risks and opportunities of the global economy, the system Global Tax and Financial Inclusion ".
• Christine Lagarde, Director of the International Monetary Fund, will arrive in the country for the first time after signing the loan

• After the closed meeting, the Argentine presidency will give a press conference to report on "the main advances". It will be Sunday at 4 pm
• Finance Ministers and Central Bank Presidents will meet twice this year: 11-12 October in Bali, Indonesia; and November 29 in Buenos Aires, a prelude to the summit of leaders
• The G20 was born in 1999 as a technical meeting of finance ministers and presidents of central banks. During the 2008 crisis, it became a space for discussion and decision-making by leaders of major economies.
• G-20 members account for 85% of the gross global product, two-thirds of the world's population and 75% of international trade
• Argentina has the G-20 presidency this year. The "main course" is November 30 and December 1, when Presidents and Heads of State of the group members land in the country.

The agreement with the IMF

On May 8, in the middle of a currency exchange that ended with a peso devaluation of about 20%, the president


Mauricio Macri
reports that he entrusted Minister Dujovne (Finance) with engaging in a dialogue with the IMF to obtain a loan. The intention was that this deal brings peace to the markets with respect to the country's ability to pay its creditors. The agreement was finalized in less than a month

The Managing Director of the IMF will arrive in Argentina tomorrow. This will be Lagarde's first time in the country after signing the loan.

Ministers of Agriculture

The G-20 Agriculture Ministers' Meeting will take place next weekend. On Friday, July 27 and Saturday, July 28, officials of the agricultural policy will meet at the San Martín Palace, in camera. Saturday morning, participants will visit the Fair of Livestock, Agriculture and Industry in the parks of Buenos Aires
