Kitten saved two babies from deadly snake

Arthur, a gray tabby cat, has died after bravely battling Australia’s deadliest snake to protect the family’s two children.

In their Queensland home, as usual, the little ones were playing in the back garden with the animal when a brown eastern snake appeared among the plants and crept past them. In Australia, it is common to find this type of reptile, which is very dangerous and aggressive. In fact, the eastern brown snake venom is the second deadliest in the world and, in this region of the planet, responsible for the highest number of snakebite deaths.

Arthur was the first to recognize the danger. He immediately threw himself on the snake to prevent it from biting them, reports the Daily Mail. It was then that a fierce fight began between the two animals, allowing the frightened children to alert their parents to what was going on. Although the eastern brown is famous for his aggressiveness, the cat managed to neutralize and kill him. But unfortunately he could not escape unscathed because during the battle the snake bit him. At that moment, the brave animal collapsed but gathered as if nothing had happened.

However, the next morning the poison took effect and the cat could not get up. His family took him to a health center in Brisbane, but there was nothing they could do to save him as his condition was very serious.
