Last Sunday, on one of the hottest nights of this summer, two users of TN and People met a dog locked in a car whose windows were closed in La Plata. A few minutes later, they discovered that the owner had gone to the restaurant for lunch.
The event was recorded at 2:00 pm, at the intersection of the 4th and 50th streets, when the thermometer marked 35 °. The couple stayed 20 minutes next to the vehicle while waiting for the owner's appearance. But as time pbaded and man did not appear, they called the police officer.
Immediately, two officers approached and told them what was happening. The agents went to the restaurant and asked who owned the parked car. This is only when the man appeared accompanied by one of the police officers opened the vehicle and pulled the animal.
Pilar, Nicolás' girlfriend, recorded the moment with her mobile phone and shared the video on the citizen journalism portal. "Do not have a dog if you have 35 degrees in the car," said the girl, indignant. During the recrimination, the man replied, "Well, do not tell me what to do. Dog was with air conditioning. "
One of the police officers asked him to accompany him and, according to Nicolás, in dialogue with TN and the people, the police told him that they had written an act and that he was going to send him a complaint about animal abuse. "I hope this man pays for what he did, in addition to being arrogant, he wanted to tie me up and had to intervene through one of the agents," said the boy.
"The place where this man was going to eat had tables on the sidewalk, so he could have taken the dog quietly, but no, it was cold and the animal died of heat, locked in the car and under the sunbeam"concluded the young man.
