Leonardo DiCaprio has teamed up with two Israeli companies to produce farmed beef

American film actor Leonardo DiCaprio invests in two Israeli farms to boost the development of beef from sustainable breeding. The main companies in the sector are Aleph Farms and Mosa Meat.

Both companies have shown power grow meat directly from animal cells. Aleph Farms introduced their first farmed steak and rib eye in 2018 and 2021, while Mosa Meat did the same with a burger in 2013.
