LIVE: Venezuelans go to the barracks to demand the return of democracy

Venezuelans are heading this Saturday to the main barracks of the country to demand that the armed forces stop supporting Nicolás Maduro following Tuesday's uprising.

The protesters they will try to deliver a proclamation in which they ask the army to support a transitional government led by Juan Guaidó, recognized as interim agent of Venezuela for more than 50 countries.

"Sunday, May 5, the Foreign Ministers of Russia and Venezuela will meet in Moscow"said a spokesman for the Foreign Ministry quoted by the Russian official agency TASS. The two ministers will discuss the evolution of the situation in Venezuela.
