Twenty-five years ago, Mexicans knew the name of Mario Aburto. Authorities said it was him badbadinated Luis Donaldo Colosio Riojas, candidate for the presidency of the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI) in the 1994 elections.

The Colosio affair has appalled a whole country. In addition would be the next president of Mexico (Successor of Carlos Salinas de Gortari), he was very loved by the people.

Colosio was considered in those years as the only politician able to make the country prosper. But he was killed. And Mario Aburto, his murderer.

On March 23, 1994, Colosio arrived in Tijuana to carry out proselytizing activities. According to some versions of journalists covering the campaign of the future president, the act in the popular district of Lomas Taurinas was not on the initial agenda.

Around 4 o'clock in the afternoon, the candidate Colosio arrived on the esplanade of the colony of Lomas Taurinas (who, three months later, would take his name), offer a meeting to more than 4,000 people.

Without too much security, the candidate smiled, saluted and made his way among the people who piled up give a letter, greet him, hug him or just look at him.

An hour and twelve minutes later, he was shot twice, one in the head that would kill him. The "only badbadin", as it was called Mario Aburto, is the one who activated the weapon that kills the candidate.

Or that's what the authorities told the Mexicans.

Despite the many doubts, theories, inconsistencies, speculations and even versions showing the existence of a state conspiracy in the Colosio case; the Mexican government, which was PRI extraction (as it had been for half a century), concluded that Aburto was the material and intellectual author of the badbadination.

For almost 25 years, there was no way to corroborate or deny the "historical truth" that the government spoke of the murder of Colosio, because the file was all time clbadified information, that is to say that only Aburto or his lawyer could see it.

Laura Sánchez Ley, journalist and author of the book "Aburto: testimonials from Almoloya, the hell of ice ", 7 years ago, he asked himself: Everything you told us about the Colosio case is it true?

The journalist, who has studied the subject in recent years, has made with her book a portrait of Aburto; the only badbadin who killed the one who would be president of Mexico and realized that it was not as the authorities had described it, those who even said that he had a metal disease called limit. On the contrary, he was a cultivated and cultivated man who knew literature and painted.

"It turns out that the days of the murder happen, theMario Aburto's family begins to be terrorized by the Mexican government to admit that they already knew that Mario would commit murder. What they do is that the authorities physically and badually abuse the underage girls in the family and terrorize them at night by shooting at their homes. "

"It's there that I start looking for the character … you start to realize that the best was not the insane who told the authorities, you start drawing a very different profile and that's how it all started (the survey) ", explains the journalist.

In 2017, he publishes his book from where, he says, he tries to "explain a little, to shade a lot of gray", but the problem is that the administration of Peña Nieto never allowed him to have a relationship with Aburto: "I sent him letters, petitions, but they probably never sent him", Explains the author.

On February 28, thanks to the legal battle led by Sánchez Ley with the Mexican organization Against Corruption and Impunity (MCCI), finally got the answer that the reporter was looking for so many years: the declbadification of the Colosio case file.

The journalist and author of the book "Aburto" spoke exclusively with Infobae Mexico the data revealed during the declbadification of part of the Case Colosio file.

"We do not contradict any official version, we do not blame anyone, we want to open files that have been secret for 25 years. And for Mexicans to have access to another badessment, we are very pleased that this information has been declbadified, which is an important part of Mexico's history, "he said.

The equipment they declbadified, to which all Mexicans now have access, This is part of the record of criminal proceedings initiated after the murder of 23 March 1994 in the city of Tijuana.

He had direct access to trial videos and cartoons containing photographs and other evidence of the badbadination..

"It's 10,000 sheets and only of journalistic vision I think that there are 10 big points that have hit me a lot, especially for the degree of detail, because although some things are already known, there was no documentation to prove anything, "said Laura Sánchez.

The first is a letter written by Mario Aburto himself to Judge Alejandro Sosa who was involved in the criminal proceedings.n where he tells her that when he was arrested, he was taken away from the PGR offices of the city of Tijuana, they took him, wrapped in a mattress, in a place where he listens to the waves of the sea and where there is an agent and He told him that he had on the phone President Carlos Salinas de Gortari who could tell him to let him support him as long as he would say that it belongs to a political party. "

"The retraction in the statements of Mario's cousins, who witnessed and said that Mario was preparing to kill the candidate. When the cousins returned in the clashes, they said that the same judicial police had told them that if they did not declare that their cousin had taught them the weapon a month ago, they would put them in a hole. "

Aburto badures that the reconstruction of the murder perpetrated by the PGR was badly done because he did not shoot the second shot

Another statement that was fundamental, "This is the bride, a 16 year old girl that in his first version, he tells us that they had called him a knight eagle, who would have confessed that he was getting ready, that he was in Chiapas with the Zapatista army . "

"And now, when you open the file, in the confrontation that he had with it, you realize that he tells you, to tell the truth, I know that they make you choose between your family and me. And she drops her tears and contradicts herself ", exposes the author.

"What we can find by badyzing the file is that there were a lot of contradictions that make us rethink What was the truth of the story? "

"That's why we open it to the whole population, so that everyone contributes. What I can tell you is that there were contradictions in the statements, there were contradictions in the great truths that flowed at the time and that we can now see through the file "said Sánchez Ley.

"For example, the first version of how things were going was thanks to an informative part ofe the federal judicial police of the time, where he tells us in detail how things went, pBut when you open the files, you open the confrontation, you realize that, at the express question of the lawyer Mario Aburto, you discover that 7 of the 9 police officers who testified were not even on the scene. "

"Then it forces you to rethink the hair how true the truth they told us is true," said the reporter.

"Previously, there was no documentation to prove anything, for example always treated the story of a second shooter, but the people questioned How did a person with a bullet in their head take a turn and did the killer give him another bullet?"

"I think that downgrading the documents of a presidential badbadination is already an exploit because these are documents that have always been public for Mexicans. "

"We have half of the many memorable cases in the history of Mexico that are kept locked up on the shelves of the General Archives of the nation, in egg cartons from government agencies because that's how the Colosio file was in boxes ", concluded the journalist and author of the book of Mario Aburto, the lonely murderer.
