These are a Porsche Boxster, a Porsche Panamera, a Chevrolet Camaro and a Land Rover Ranger Rover Evoque. For these four, they hope to get around $ 250,000.

The auction will take place on Thursday, March 25, at 11 a.m., in the ballroom of the Radisson Victoria Plaza, in Montevideo, Uruguay. It is organized by the National Drug Office, through the Seized Property Fund. Until Wednesday, the cars can be seen in Anrtci (Avenida Uruguay 826).

The auctioneer in charge of the auction will be Marcelo Molina, a businessman who estimates a value close to $ 80,000 for the Porsche Panamera, one of $ 40,000 for the Porsche Boxster, one of $ 80,000 for the Land Rover. Ranger Rover Evoque. and $ 35,000 for the Chevrolet Camaro.

In statements collected by the newspaper El País in Uruguay, Molina assured that he would accept “the best reasonable offer”, but that “if there are no reasonable offers, they will not be sold”. In any case, he foresaw that he had already shown interest in the cars sold at auction “a good audience frame”.

The funny thing is that one of the people interested in buying the cars is his wife, Paola Fiege. He came this week to see them and ask about the auction. He admitted to El País that he intended to acquire them as an “investment”. “She came dressed like a diva. Very kind. He greeted everyone and took pictures of the cars, ”they said of the Auction Association.

These four cars were not the only ones to have found Balcedo, convicted of money laundering and smuggling and currently under house arrest. He also had a Ferrari California worth $ 435,000 which he picked up in October of last year,

The jewel in the union’s collection was the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren, a collector’s item that any iron lover would dream of being able to drive. It was born from an alliance between Mercedes-Benz and McLaren, and was manufactured between 2003 and 2010. It has a 5.4-liter V8 engine developing 626 hp. Launched at speed, it reached 334 km / h.

In Argentina, it was never officially sold. In fact, the Balcedo unit does not have a national license plate. It’s such an exclusive model that only 3,500 were produced for everyone: the union member had one and Donald Trump another. For a unit in good condition, they can ask for up to 650,000 euros.
