The government has agreed with the People's Republic of China to open this market for soybean meal from Argentina, the country's main export product, after 20 years of negotiations between countries.
The announcement will be made official next Wednesday at the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries, announced the agriculture portfolio in a statement.
"This historic agreement for Argentina represents an excellent opportunity to enter the largest consumer market of vegetable protein for food in the livestock sector"said the agriculture.
China has more than 500 million head between pigs and cattle.
