The historic snowfall in Madrid allowed Javier Tarancón, a “mushing” sportsman, sled his dogs. The footage was captured by residents of the Hortaleza neighborhood and has gone viral.





The five huskies used to run on land As the snow is often far away, they were finally able to do it in their own neighborhood. Tarancón provides the middle Hortaleza district that seeing the amount of snow accumulated did not miss the opportunity. Some dogs had never even seen her.



At about 20 kilometers per hour and with maximums up to 45, the athlete walked through Bucaramanga Avenue, Manizales Street and the Madrid cycle path. “They’re sled dogs, but from the city and they used to go to the sidewalk and stop before crossing, so we kept stopping. Also, the people who saw us asked us for photos and videos, ”Javier explains.
