Maduro's furious reaction against Michelle Bachelet's report – Telam

Nicolás Maduro declared his "total and absolute rejection" of the report of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, Michel Bachelet.

"His report is unfortunately aligned with the media and political rhetoric imposed by Washington, repeating the scenario of the existence of an alleged dictatorial government and a so-called humanitarian crisis, justifying an intervention by those who are striving to our immense natural resources, "denounced the president in a letter to Bachelet.

The long letter, posted on Twitter by Foreign Minister Jorge Arreaza and published in several local media, is a direct response to the report that the Chilean Bachelet presented on July 5, after a two-day visit to Caracas during which met with government authorities, anti-UFO leaders and social group authorities or human rights defenders.

Here you can download the letter worthy that the president @NicolasMaduro I sent it to the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights @mbachelet. The President requests a speedy rectification of the damaging report on Venezuela presented by his office. https://t.co/YE5pNCYKiw
