Man saves baby as train hits him

Security cameras at a train station in the Indian town of Vangani, Maharashtra, captured (see video above) the moment a railway worker manages to save a child from the tracks a few seconds before the train arrives, of RT.

The events happened on April 17 and local authorities hailed Mayur Shelke as a hero, the channel reports. NDTV.

Shelke said the minor was accompanied by a visually impaired woman, who “couldn’t do anything” to help him. For this reason, Mayur ran at full speed, risk your own life, to derail it and bring it to safety.

The footage was shared on Twitter by Railways Minister Piyush Goyal, who praised Shelke’s “unusually brave act” in risking his own life to save the boy.

“Very proud of Mayur Shelke, a railroad worker at Vangani station in Mumbai who performed exceptionally brave, risked his own life and saved the life of a child, ”Goyal wrote, sharing the video on Twitter.

“His act cannot be compared to no price or moneybut he will be rewarded for having fulfilled his responsibility and motivated humanity by his work, ”he added.
