March in front of the consulate of Chile: assaults, races and shots in the subway

Social organizations and unions mobilized this afternoon at the Chilean consulate in Buenos Aires to sympathize with "the struggle of the trans-Andean people" and repudiate "the brutal repression, which has already caused 11 dead and 1500 wounded". The demonstration was going smoothly, until shortly before 7 pm, a group of people attacked the cameraman for a news signal.

The final destination of the march was the building at Avenida Roque Sáenz Peña 500. The incidents occurred when the columns of protesters advanced along Rivadavia Avenue, just a few meters from the Cathedral station on subway line D from Buenos Aires.

The journalist Mariana Segulin, of TNhe said from where he "tried to show what was going on", people approached to believe it: "They grabbed my microphone and wanted to take the cube with the channel mark ".

The municipal police infantry arrived a few minutes later to try to clear the area. The demonstrators then threw stones and Molotov bombs. Even for a few seconds, flames were seen coming from one of the subway entrance stairs.
