For his part, as CEO of HSBC Argentina, Marotta will report to Paulo Maia, CEO of HSBC Latin America, and will also retain the role of director of business banking for Latin America he has held since 2015.

Marotta began her career at the Argentinean Bank in 1998, holding various positions at the local, regional and global levels in the areas of corporate banking, individuals, insurance and risk. He is currently responsible for Latin America Business Banking and the Mexico-based Global Director of Business Services.

He is an economist graduated from the National University of Buenos Aires and holds an MBA from CEMA University.
