Mashico is 121 and was vaccinated against the coronavirus

Peru records 1,129,190 people who received the first of two doses of vaccine from Sinopharm, Pfizer and AstraZeneca laboratories. 628,051 received the two kits, as reported by the ministry.

The immunization phase for people over 80 began on March 8, but progressed slowly due to a lack of doses and vaccination centers. Since Friday, the vaccination phase has started for people between 70 and 79 years old.

“Before July 28, 4.5 million people will be vaccinated”President Francisco Sagasti said in an interview with Latina television channel.

The goal is to vaccinate 24.5 million adults throughout the year. Peru has accumulated 61,477 deaths and 1.7 million infections during the 13 months of the pandemic.
