Massacre in a school in Brazil: two teenagers murdered five children and one adult and committed suicide

The shooting took place shortly after 9:10 am at Raúl Brasil School, a Suzano public school in downtown São Paulo. At least five children and one adult died.

According to the newspaper Folha de São Paulothe first reports of the military police suggest that two hooded men posing as teenagers shoot at the students and commit suicide.

The school director was beaten and, according to police sources, she died as a result of the shooting. Doctors working at the site claimed that at least nine people had been injured, but the number of children would be unknown.

The attack caused chaos and panic. The students went out and took refuge in nearby shops.
