Massacre in New Zealand: the shocking message of an All Blacks player – 15/03/2019

Sonny Bill Williams, player of the New Zealand rugby team, could not hold back his tears when he learned that attacks on mosques had killed at least forty people. Before the publication of the official figures of the victims, the center of the All Blacks posted a shocking message on his Twitter account.

The 33-year-old native of Auckland, who is Muslim, offered his condolences to those affected by the tragedy. "I just heard the news," he began in a strangled voice. "I can not say how I feel now," he added.

"Send my duas (call) to the families. I have just sent my duas to your loved ones. Inshallah (God willing), you are all in heaven. I am deeply saddened that this is happening in New Zealand, "said the world champion who is still openly talking about his religion.

Williams converted to Islam in 2011 after overcoming an alcohol addiction that puts an end to his life almost and, over time, he is engaged more and more in this belief.
