The Argentine Foreign Ministry on Friday acknowledged Elisa Trotta Gamus as Ambassador of Venezuela before the Argentine government. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also recalled that the lawyer, arrived in the country earlier this year, was already accredited as the representative of the president in charge and also president of the National Assembly of Venezuela.

In addition, he determined that from that date, he represents for all Venezuelans residing in Argentina "the highest authority of the country in the country, who can also assist them in all their consular affairs".
