The hon. national pro-government regeneration movement (Brown), Maria of Lourdes Paz Perezproposed on Wednesday at the Mexico City Congress, proposed a reform of the Forcing stores to sell beverages containing 7% or less of alcohol without being refrigerated.
It means that beers should be sold hot, in order to discourage consumption.
The lawmaker has proposed to reform the law on commercial establishments of the Mexican capital in order to directly attack street consumption, one of the largest enterprises establishments, breweries and in general the capital.
The proposal was not appreciated by users of social networks who immediately reacted with memes referring to their dissatisfaction and creating a trend with the hashtag. #WithThe BeerNo.
Some were dedicated to the president Andrés Manuel López Obradoralthough the proposal mentions only the capital of the country, in others it seems the actor Eduardo Yáñez, famous for his bad character, who, in a provocative attitude, claims initiative.

Others went further and began posting the link on the MP's Facebook page to write "congratulations" for his idea.
A survey prepared by Consulta Mitofsky revealed that between 2009 and 2018, the consumption of alcoholic beverages among Mexicans had increased, with beer being preferred by consumers.
The exercise gave a increase of six percentage points among those who responded that they drank at some point in their lives, from 63% to 69%.

The investigation revealed that in The western part of the country is where more beer is consumed, mainly in the population aged 30 to 49, followed by 18 to 29 year olds.
While beer is more popular among men, tequila is a favorite drink of women across the country.
