Amid the uncertainty that the application of dozens of vaccines against COVID-19, a disease that has reduced the lives of hundreds of people in Mexico, the secretary of External relations, Marcelo Ebrard Casaubón, announced this morning that the country already has the Certificate of analysis vaccine Sinovac.

A total of 800,000 doses arrived on Mexican land on Saturday February 27, which will allow the process of vaccination against the virus to continue SARS-CoV-2, for the elderly, who have more than 15 million people in this sector.

The vaccine took off from the international airport of Beijing, China, on flight CX391. He later made a stopover in Hong Kong City, to later transfer the doses to Mexico on Cathay Pacific airline flight CX086. The shipment arrived at Terminal 1 of Mexico City International Airport (AICM) “Benito Juárez”.

According to reports, he is expected to receive at least 10 million doses of this Chinese vaccine. So far, one million organic products come from the Asian country.

The Mexican government received until last Saturday a total of 12 shipments – 17 flights – containing vaccines from four different laboratories.
