A shooting occurred early this Sunday in the southwest of the Miami-Dade County, South Florida (UNITED STATES), killed three people and wounded at least six, local authorities reported.
The perpetrators of the shots, not yet identified by the authorities, approached in two vehicles from the parking lot of a shopping area and they started shooting those leaving a place where a graduation party was taking place.
Miami-Dade Police Director Freddy Ramírez reported that one of the deaths was a woman who was a Florida correctional officer who died at a nearby hospital.
The other two people who died, Ramírez said, were killed when the vehicle they were traveling in crashed into a wall at the Kendall City Campus at Miami-Dade College, located near the scene. A gun was found inside the car.
Three women and three men were injured by the gunfire and are admitted to local hospitals.

The event happens exactly a week after another gun attack in Miami-Dade County and that left three dead and at least 20 injured. The assistants were shot dead by the occupants of a white van, which a few days later was picked up by police from a canal in which it had been submerged, but authorities are investigating whether there was a second vehicle from which he was also reportedly shot.
The police did not report the arrest of those believed to be responsible for this event or what happened on Sunday, for which investigations are underway.
To counter the recent escalation of gun violence in the county, Miami-Dade City Hall and Miami-Dade Police on Thursday announced the so-called “Operation Summer Heat”, a joint plan between the police. agencies.
