Microsoft Corp. and National Geographic join forces for the creation of the program AI for Earth Innovation Grant gifted with a million dollars, to subsidize research and scientific discovery projects that make the use of artificial intelligence and the cloud to search for solutions that allow conservation of the environment in a more sustainable way in the future .

The two companies will choose between five and fifteen new projects that focus on one or more core areas: agriculture, biodiversity conservation, climate change, and water

In addition to financial support, access to Microsoft's cloud and artificial intelligence tools will be offered, as well as inclusion in the National Geographic Explorer com unit and Affiliation with National Geographic Labs The National Geographics Accelerator for the Search for Solutions to the World's Biggest Challenges Through Data, Technology, and Applications
