It's Munira Abdulla, who, almost three decades ago, has returned from school research for her son, Omar, 4 years old. But a traffic accident put his life in suspense: a school group was carrying the vehicle in which the 32-year-old woman was riding. The impact caused a brain injury that left him in a vegetative state. His little boy was luckier because he barely suffered from a blow that did not cause him any serious consequences and he continued his life normally although she never knew him. . Until now.

He returned to Al Ain, in the United Arab Emirates, and everything remained the same: sucked by the tube and with the physiotherapists, maintain the muscle tone with mbadages. But without brain changes. Meanwhile, the years pbaded, she grew up in this state and her son became an adult, never ceasing to visit him, although almost hopelessly.

For protecting her son in a traffic accident, she suffered a severe blow to the head that left her unconscious for nearly three decades. Then the boy was 4 years old.

But in April 2017, the family received a grant for a full program at the Schön Klinik Bad Aibling Hospital in Germany. She was transferred and treated until June 2018 and Abdulla began to move. And a few days later, Omar sleeping next to her, she called him by name. "He said my name and I flew with joy, for years I had dreamed of that moment and my name was the first word he uttered," says Omar. In the last 10 months, Abdulla has continued his evolution, which is now complete and he is back in Abu Dhabi with his family to rehabilitate himself.
