Andrew Wadsworth, a former British professional mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter, was convicted of murdering his ex-partner, Melissa Belshaw, perpetrated in May this year, the newspaper reported Manchester Evening News.

Wadsworth was also convicted of a count other than attempted murder, This one against another person whom he stabbed in the street on the day of the crime. On the other hand, he was acquitted of charges relating to a death threat against Belshaw’s daughter, 13, who claimed that the accused put a knife to his throat amid the altercation that led on the death of his mother.
