For the Camel and Parisiennes brands, the price will be $ 64 for the box version of 20 units. On the other hand, the Pall Mall KS price of 20 will be 60 pesos.

This is the fifth year increase applied by the tobacco companies, who had already updated their prices in January, February, March and May.

By an Afip decree, formalized in early June, the prices of cigarettes will have four annual updates: in January, April, July and October of each year, for which the variation of the index will be taken into account. account. Consumer price (CPI) corresponding to the previous quarter.

Therefore, for 2018, there remains one last update in October, based on the previous three months' inflation.

In a statement, British American Tobacco reiterated its concerns about the growth of illegal trade in the country and the non-compliance of the minimum tax payment by local tobacco companies.
