More than 50 people were injured in Caracas during the second consecutive day of anti-government protests registered by Venezuela, health and trade union sources said Wednesday.

A total of 46 wounded were treated in the municipality of Caracas in Chacao, where security forces and thousands of protesters clashed for hours in response to a call from opposition leader Juan Guaidó, recognized as Venezuela's interim president by some 50 countries.
