Most searched on Google in 2020 by Argentines …

As every year, Google realized the annual balance of which the most searched terms on your platform And, how could it be otherwise, the pandemic has dominated the podium. In the report The year in research, the world’s most widely used search engine reported that “Argentina’s investigations are largely linked to the pandemic”.

The most searched word in Argentina was “Coronavirus”, followed by “Google Classroom”, the Google educational environment and “remote procedures“. This research responds to the new dynamics brought about by quarantine, such as distance learning or news in platforms to carry out procedures, such as the one launched by ANSES.

In this sense, the questions “How do I know if I perceive 10,000 YEARS?” and “Where do I get the IFE?” they were the most consulted.

The ranking results from the evaluation of over a billion searches carried out in the country throughout the year. Other interests of Argentines also included elections in the United States, permission to travel and research related to Zoom (a platform for making video calls, one of the most used applications during quarantine).

The top 10 most wanted also included Hot Sale, Emergency Family Income, Diego Maradona and Mi Anses.

Google also measured what they were the most frequent questions asked by Argentines in the search engine. Among them was what the coronavirus is, how to make alcohol gel or chin straps, where the Alimentar card is withdrawn, among others.

In addition to questions, Argentines were looking for recipes for making croissants, homemade bread, flan and gnocchi; and they searched for relevant information on different personalities. Among them, Diego Maradona, Kobe Bryant, Naya Rivera and even Alberto Fernández.
